Cooler Master GemenII - Introduction and Packaging

Introduction

We brought you a preview of this cooler late last year. At the time, many asked why we hadn't produced any thermal reading. Well, truth is, we wanted to give it a proper amount of review time and chose to do that – in full – as part of this group test.

We initially tested the GemenII in its passive form and then requested a couple of fans to push cooling performance further. Cooler Master duly obliged - two LED 120mm Cooler Master fans arrived a few days later.

Packaging

Our sample for this review had been flown in especially for us from Japan. We have seen the GemenII packaging for the UK market and it's pretty similar. It's nicely designed, with clean graphics and plenty of information round the outside.

Considering the GemenII 's size, its packaging is impressively compact, although, of course, no fans are shipped as standard.
