--- Appearance, Specification and Compatibility

Appearance

The GemenII is so substantial that it almost takes over the interior of the PC's case, so its weight of 847g - without fans - is no surprise but is still a little a little worrying. With two fans fitted and the appropriate cables in place, all-up weight is pushed over the 1kg mark. Eeek!

Oh, and did we mention that the GemenII is big? It measures 124.6(h) x 175(w) x 81.5(d) mm even without fans. This is not a cooler to be messed with. And its considerable size results in a number of issues, especially when it comes to mounting it on a motherboard.

Much like the Cooler Master Eclipse, the aluminium fins of the heat-sink are attached directly to the base and sandwiched over six heat-pipes that are spread across the full width of the top of the heat-sink.

Two rails are included in the GemenII's packaging for attaching the optional 120mm fans. The fans can be mounted at various positions on the top of the GemenII, either singly or as a pair, with sliders used to adjust precisely where they sit.
