--- Mounting System and Fitment Time

Mounting System

As we've said, the Freezer 7 Pro mounts uses an Intel-alike push-pin system and this is conveniently secured to the base out of the box. Given that the Freezer 7 Pro also has thermal paste pre-applied, we start to see why it's proved so popular - it's almost idiot proof.

The fitting process is very simple. Remove the cover from base of cooler, line up holes with push-pins and errm….push. That's it apart from the CPU fan that needs to be hooked up to the usual header on the motherboard.

Fitment Time

With a fitment time of 85 seconds (1 minute 25 seconds) the Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro managed to come 2nd out of the 27 configurations in this group test. The simplicity of the mounting system coupled with the pre-applied thermal paste made the whole process ultra easy.
