Conclusion

...Aer RGB 2 140mm fans do a good job of accentuating the cooler's visual appeal...

NZXT has expanded upon its existing range of X-Series all-in-one coolers with a trio of new additions that incorporate RGB fans.

The reviewed Kraken X63 RGB picks up where its predecessors left off, with top-end performance facilitated by a seventh-generation Asetek pump and 280mm aluminium radiator. A pair of Aer RGB 2 140mm fans do a good job of accentuating the cooler's visual appeal, which continues to catch the eye courtesy of the mirror ring LED incorporated into the CPU block.

Out-the-box noise levels leave room for further optimisation, and you really need to be partial to RGB lighting to contemplate the Ā£30 premium over regular X-Series coolers, but small margins separate a large number of all-in-one coolers and NZXT's aesthetic flair helps the X63 RGB stand out in a crowded market.

Thanks for the review, had planned to get this for my next rig.
I have this AIO on my 10700k. I find the stock NZXT fans to be quite loud and have a jarring pitch. I replaced them with Arctic P14s and now the cooling performance is much better, along with a more tolerable noise.
