Conclusion

...a balanced out-the-box setup that delivers the requisite level of cooling capability without any need for tinkering.

Corsair has a long history of producing award-winning all-in-one liquid coolers, and the 2020 range of iCue RGB Pro XT is in our estimation its best effort yet.

Improving on the soon-to-be-retired Pro RGB, the new models, available in 240, 280 or 360 formats, make the switch to Corsair's highest-performance CoolIT pump with full-range ML-Series fans and a balanced out-the-box setup that delivers the requisite level of cooling capability without any need for tinkering.

Add to that a sleek black trim, comfortable noise levels and just enough RGB to look pretty but not ostentatious, and you have a well-rounded cooler suited to any enthusiast build. There's still room for further refinement - the USB cable looks awkward and the lack of additional thermal paste continues to grate - but on the whole, the iCue H115i RGB Pro XT is a stellar solution, particularly if you're inclined to overclock a modern, many-core CPU.

Bottom line: in the market for your first Corsair all-in-one cooler? The iCue RGB Pro XT is where to start.
