Final thoughts and rating
There are plenty of reasons to like Antec's SOLO II chassis. It's compact for a mid-tower enclosure, it's well built, it's visually attractive, and it's suitably quiet in use.
But the £90 entry fee is undeniably steep, and at this price, you can't help but notice some of the chassis' shortcomings. There are few configuration options, the tight internal confines aren't the easiest to work with, and the out-the-box cooling performance isn't great.
High-end users who're in and out of their enclosure on a regular basis will be better served by a performance-orientated solution, but the SOLO II remains a viable choice for those seeking a quieter, more-refined PC experience.
Bottom line: Users who value a quiet computing experience will enjoy what the SOLO II has to offer, but keep expectations in check and be prepared to make compromises.
