Point of View has itself a growing portfolio of NVIDIA ION-powered products, and its latest edition is a small mini-ITX desktop dubbed the Mobii FamilyPC.

Designed as a "versatile, powerful and low-cost" system, the Mobii FamilyPC - measuring 322mm x 200mm x 183mm - is marginally larger than Point of View's existing ION miniPCs.

Inside, there's a dual-core 1.6GHz Intel Atom 330 processor, combined with NVIDIA's ION chipset - complete with GeForce 9400M graphics. That's joined by 1GB/2GB of DDR2 memory and 320GB of storage. There's a DVD writer as standard, with Blu-ray an optional extra, and a built-in 180W power supply.

Connectivity comes in the form of HDMI, DVI and VGA for video, optical SPDIF and stereo for audio, Gigabit Ethernet for networking, and eight USB ports for hooking up all your peripherals.

According to Point of View, the "slightly larger cube design" creates room for users to install additional components - and there's a single PCI slot and a mini PCIe slot found within.

The Mobii FamilyPC will be offered in black or white finishes, but there are no details on pricing or availability yet.

Looks like the aPLUS cubit 3 case a bit.
Not sure what market it aims for… HTPC crowd will prefer the Asrock Ion 330, those wanting more CPU power will want Zotac 9300 mITX board and a better case. Who will want this?
