Acer appears to have acquired a taste for all-in-one PCs. Having unveiled a line of home-user-orientated Aspire all-in-one PCs earlier this year, the world's third largest PC vendor is today turning its attention to the commercial market with the introduction of the Veriton Z280G-EA271CP.
The sleek all-in-one PC, pictured below, is aimed at the U.S. commercial market and will be available with prices starting at $499.
The system features an 18.5in display providing a 1,366x768 resolution, and Acer reckons the entire unit's slim dimensions - 48.3cm x 38.1cm x 5.4cm - make it an ideal solution for reception areas, hotel lobbies and offices that require a space-saving design.
Inside, there's a 1.6GHz Intel Atom N270 processor, integrated Intel GMA 950 graphics, 2GB of memory, a 160GB hard drive and a a SuperMulti optical drive. That's joined by Wi-Fi connectivity, Gigabit Ethernet, five USB ports and a multi-card reader.
No word on global availability, but the Acer Veriton Z280G-EA271CP is available now in North America.
