Taiwanese manufacturer Thermaltake has extended its line of Toughpower XT power supplies with four new models that promise to "enhance the system upgrade potential".

The company's latest PSU solutions are available in 575W, 675W, 775 and 875W capacities, edging out the previous generation by offering an additional 25W per model.

In addition to the minor bump in wattage, Thermaltake's 80 Plus Bronze-certified units tout a new active PFC circuit design that should raise efficiency to 89 per cent.

As with previous XT power supplies, Thermaltake's latest additions incorporate an S.P.T. indicator - a series of three LEDs that allow users to monitor the health of the unit by checking for standby mode, a good power signal and temperature.

A single 12V rail resides within the Toughpower XT, and the units feature both PCIe 6-pin and PCI 6+2-pin connectors for multi-card GPU configurations. Other features include a DC-to-DC voltage converter module and a 14cm cooling fan with FanDelayCool function.

All four models should be available soon, with Thermaltake suggesting a retail price of $109, $135, $145 and $159 for the Toughpower XT 575W, 675W, 775W and 875W models, respectively.
