AMD's FM1 socket was caught up close a few weeks ago, but today, it's an AMD FM1 desktop test board that has been captured on camera.
Reports suggest that it's AMD's A75 FCH at the heart of the system, which brings with it, native USB 3.0 support. Active cooling is present, as we can see, yet there's speculation that some retail offerings may go down the passive cooling route.
As for the VRM here, it looks like a 3+2 phase job but there isn't any telling - just yet - what AMD's partners will come up with to differentiate their respective line-ups. Finishing up, there's a single PCIe x16 slot, dual PCIe x4 slots, a mini-PCIe slot and a good old PCI slot to add to the usual complement of connectivity options.
