Later today, at 6pm BST, Apple is to announce the next iteration of its iOS mobile operating system, though, surely that's not all? Should we expect an early announcement of the next iPhone? a new Mac? Well images at WeiPhone tend to suggest that the latter may be possible, as they depict what looks like a refresh to the MacBook Pro line.
With Intel launching mobile Ivy Bridge processors at the end of last month, no doubt Apple is eagerly waiting to make use of Ivy Bridge's power-savings and improved integrated graphics for its entry-level products. If it's to be a refresh then, it needs to be a significant one, with products further up the chain featuring a new GPU.
Leaked images are suggesting that the next MacBook Pro will be making the transition away from AMD and back to NVIDIA, with it looking like the MacBook Pro will feature the firm's GeForce GT 650M Kepler GPU, benchmarking around AMD's Radeon HD 7770M, offering up a 55 per cent performance increase over the current model. These images could turn-out to be nothing but fakes, however, if they are indeed legit, make up your mind Apple!
