2 Million sales and counting says otherwise (surprisingly - or not given apple's marketing)

Given the large profit margin apple will be making and no r&d to recoup - it is just a big iphone after all - it's all win for apple.

I wouldn't say “no R&D”, minimal R&D would be closer I think :)
