Feeling the stress of Christmas shopping yet? How about we take your mind off it by going back through what we've covered this week.

Chillblast impresses us with an up-to-date PC that's not going to break the bank and will play Battlefield 3 and Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 at a full-HD resolution with nary a worry. Prefer to go it alone and build a PC yourself? Antec reckons the SOLO II is just the ticket, but we have mixed feelings.

Two keyboards go under the review microscope. The all-singing, all-dancing MEKA G-Unit impresses with bulletproof build and excellent performance. Meanwhile, XEBEC has go at a wireless media centre keyboard.

Plantronics dishes up a Bluetooth headset with a 'personal assistant' in tow, while OCZ, no stranger to innovation, has an attempt at SSD caching technology. Head on over to our review here.

Gaming guru Steven Williamson is suitably narked with the anti-social elements of on-line playing. He gives rise to his fulmination in the Battlefield 3 review, but then softens and purrs over how 'DICE has created a massive production and compelling multiplayer component that rarely fails to excite and entertain.' Praise indeed. iPad photo-editing app Snapseed also gets the Williamson seal of approval, too.

Elder Scrolls: Skyrim garners near-unanimous praise - you might just have to put your life aside to play this - and we round-up the what the web think the next-gen Xbox may look and perform like.

In other news, Intel's much-anticipated Core i7 3960X and 3930K Sandy Bridge Extreme chips break cover and appear at retail (review coming very soon), Adobe axes flash on mobile devices, NVIDIA and ASUS fawn over the tasty Transformer Prime tablet, Best Buy announces the closure of 11 UK stores, and Amazon takes it to Apple.

Speaking of Christmas shopping, how about entering our be quiet competition? It may just make the perfect present for the techie in your life.
