Here's what you get:

Items HIS Platinum Pack
Drivers CD
Quickstart guide
AMD Get All 3 leaflet
Valve: The Black Box product key for Half-Life Episode 2, Portal, Team Fortress 2, and Day of Defeat Source

S-Video + composite video VIVO cable

A pretty comprehensive bundle that's only missing out on an included game and 6-pin PCIe connectors. The Valve Black Box inclusion will be present on all retail Radeon HD 2900 XTs.

Warranty

HIS offers a three-year warranty on its Radeon HD 2900 XT graphics card, and the first year's cover is directly with the reseller you purchased from while the remaining years are with the manufacturer. A UK address is provided for the second/third year's cover, by the way.

The warranty is transferable should you sell the card on, but, oddly, begins on the date the card was manufactured, not when the original owner bought it, so any card sitting in a warehouse is slowly running down the warranty cover.

Summary

A reference-clocked card with a decent bundle and attractive street price. Performance numbers start here and our final evaluation over there of the reference card is equally applicable to HIS's effort.

i'm slightly disappointed at some of the results of the hd2900xt, but maybe better drivers will improve things.

I realise that it is now competing (and fairly well) against the 8800gts (320+640mb) at this price level, but it is supposed to be AMD/ATi's uber card and it dosn't really compare to the gtx or ultra.

I'm going to hold off from buying a new card for a few months, or at least until you lot do your comparison article.

Hopefully the guys at xfx (or do they just do Nvidia?) (et al) will come up with something better than the reference card with a few stickers. If they don't (or can't), then I'm going with Nvidia.
I don't know if its just me, but in the summary when you click on ‘here’ it doesnt seem to link to anything. Just reading the review now which I imagine ‘here’ is supposed to link to?
No digit, it dosn't, but if you click on the link in the line “The gallery of shots highlights that the only discernible difference between it and the reference card lies with the sticker on top of the fan.” on the first page, it takes you to a review of the reference card they were sent (which is essentially what the HIS card is).

I'll even put the direct link here for you, hows that?:)

I was mainly pointing out the issue to Tarinder, I found the review via the main page but thanks anyway :)
digit,

That's strange. I've made no changes to the code and the summary ‘here’ links to the first page of benchmarks on the main review. Or am I barking up the wrong tree?
