Inno3D are aiming to exceed expectations with their latest graphics card solution, powered by the NVIDIA GeForce 7200GS Graphics Processing Unit (GPU).

Clearly being an SKU positioned at the low end of the market, the solution is designed and targeted towards offloading graphics duties from the system processor, thereby allowing for advanced 3D features, together with improved system performance. Inno3D go on to state that this is the first entry level card that features True High Dynamic (HDR) lighting support, thereby delivering true to life graphics, minus the higher end price tag.

Whilst the Inno3D GeForce 7200GS is marketed as being built for Microsoft's Windows Vista operating system, it is imperative to note that neither this solution, nor the NVIDIA GeForce 7 series of GPUs as a whole, are DirectX 10 compatible and instead, DirectX 9 Shader Model 3.0 level support is the pinnacle of the feature set.

Memory bandwidth in GB/sec comes in at 6.4, whilst fill rate, measured in billion texels/sec, measures up at 0.9.

The Inno3D GeForce 7200GS ships with a core clock speed of 450MHz, complemented by a memory clock speed of 667MHz and the solution adopts the PCI-E interface.

Inno3D seem to be late bloomers, would be nice if they could sort something out with the 8800 Ultra or something more current than the old series of nVidia cards.
Maybe it's going to be a cheap PCI-E 1x card or something? Can't say expectations are high for a 7200GS so I'm sure their statement is correct…

They do claim HD video playback, it could make a good HTPC card if it's low-profile and silent. Or maybe they'll just churn them out 10-a-penny for dell and the like.
