Here's how GeForce GTX 275 availability and pricing is shaping up a week after launch in Europe:

Euro Market

  EVGA GeForce GTX 275 1,792MB SSC Pre-order €329.00 €329.00

This time last week, we were unable to find a single GeForce GTX 275 in stock from our chosen European etailer, alternate.de. Although stock is still limited, there are now two cards available - from Sparkle and ASUS - and prices have fallen, too.

Sparkle's offering is now available at a cost of €214.90, down from $239.90, and ASUS' card has also fallen in price by around 5 per cent.

US Market

etailer Product Availability Price at Launch (inc. VAT) Current Price (inc. VAT)
newegg.com Sparkle GeForce GTX 275 In stock N/A $259.99
EVGA GeForce GTX 275 In stock N/A $259.99
  BFG GeForce GTX 275 OCE Pre-order N/A $259.99
  PNY GeForce GTX 275 Pre-order N/A $259.99
  XFX GeForce GTX 275 Pre-order N/A $259.99

It's good news for US customers, too. Seven days ago, popular etailer newegg.com didn't even have GeForce GTX 275 GPUs listed - let alone in stock. Today, it has five listed, two of which are in stock, and all of which are being bundled with a free copy of Call of Duty: World at War for a limited time.

Overall, there's clearly a greater variety of in-stock cards to choose from when opting for AMD's ATI Radeon HD 4890, but if brand matters not, both AMD and NVIDIA's latest cards can now be easily found priced competitively at a penny under £200 in the UK.

So, whats the pick of choice bang for buck wise if the 4890 OC is at £202 then?
Particularly interesting for me is that in the UK and US, the 4890's seem to have a definite pricing advantage!
