Hong Kong's Galaxy Technology is teasing a forthcoming derivative of NVIDIA's GeForce GTX 285 - a card also known as the fastest single-GPU solution in the world.

The card, pictured below, is yet to be officially named, but will feature 2GB of GDDR3 memory - double the amount found on NVIDIA's reference design.

Despite the doubling up of on-board memory, Galaxy's card is expected to ship with stock frequencies - that's 648MHz for the GPU and 2,484MHz for the memory. Cooling, however, comes courtesy of Arctic Cooling's tri-fan Accelero Extreme, so we'd expect to find some overclocking headroom.

There's no mention of availability or pricing just yet, but it should soon offer an interesting alternative to Palit's custom-cooled 2GB model.
