GPU Benchmarks
The Adreno 225 featured in the MSM8960 is spec'd in a very similar fashion to the PowerVR SGX 543MP2 found in the iPhone 4S and this is reflected in the benchmarks. It's clear that performance begins to fall apart at higher resolutions, though fear not, as later on in the year, Qualcomm will also be releasing a tablet targeted, quad-core Snapdragon S4 variant, the MSM8064, which will feature the much improved Adreno 320 GPU, with the firm expected to refresh its mobile-phone SoC line-up with the Adreno 305 towards the end of the year.
