Taking primary colours into overdrive!
Paintbrushes have been busy recently if some of the artwork below, goes forth to spread the name of AMD's FX processor family.
Currently lovingly known by the codename "Zambezi", the Bulldozer-architecture powered desktop CPUs will no doubt be attempting to clear the Sandy Bridge and are rumoured to appear during the latter part of Q2.
It would seem that AMD is experimenting with a vortex of colour to capture attention as we see claimed packaging options, for 8-Core and 4-Core SKUs, all listed as part of the Black Edition line-up. There's no sneak-peak for the 6-Core offerings however, and the conceptual status of these images is unknown.
On the text side of the equation, we see mention of AMD's Turbo CORE Technology 2.0 and of course, a nod towards 8-Core supremacy.
Nevertheless, the liberal splashing of colour certainly makes the easel look good from here so we'll be interested to see which path AMD goes down, as the launch timeframe draws nearer.
