Antec has debuted its SOLO II PC chassis, priced at an MSRP of approximately 119 Euros.
With its dual-layer anodised aluminium bezel, piano-black panels and black interior, Antec tells us that the SOLO II is the result of its commitment to listening to customer feedback. The SOLO II aims to deliver ease of use, quiet hard drive mounting facilities and greater expandability. There's so much confidence in the latter claim, that the SOLO II is marketed as being smaller than a mid-tower chassis, but as expandable as larger (and higher priced) options.
A dual-mounting system for HDDs - compatible with either 2.5in or 3.5in varieties - allows users to mount drives using tray mounts and silicone grommets, or simply using a tool-less suspension mounting system. Moving on, front panel bells-and-whistles, include Audio I/O connectors, plus a combination of USB 2.0 and 3.0 ports.
Combining enhanced features with the characteristics of its Sonata family, Antec tells us that the SOLO II is as suitable for gamers, as it's for performance users and enthusiasts.
