SAN JOSE, Calif.—GPU Technology Conference—March 2019  — ASUS today announced that it is showcasing its latest GPU servers, workstations, mobile workstations and motherboards for edge-computing solutions for inference, AI-enabled solutions, and content creation to accelerating deployments on handling the workload demands by 5G and datacentre at the NVIDIA GPU Technology Conference (GTC). ASUS is demonstrating its products at booth 718 at the San Jose Convention Centre through March 21.

New 1U GPGPU Server for edge-computing applications

With the commercialisation of 5G network technology on the way, high density and low latency are becoming critical criteria for edge computing with high-speed transmission requirements. At GTC 2019, ASUS is demonstrating ESC4000 DHD G4, the latest 1U GPGPU server designed to satisfy the stronger demand for high density and low latency in edge computing applications. Featuring comprehensive NVMe storage solutions, ESC4000 DHD G4 features four hot-swap bays on the front panel for better IPOS and serviceability for complex AI inference platforms. ESC4000 DHD G4 also supports up to four NVIDIA®  GPUs for AI/HPC applications, seamlessly fitting the heavy workload requirements of 3D rendering, construction and engineering.

A wide range of workstations for every application and budget

AT GTC 2019, ASUS is also showcasing E900 G4, a workstation that delivers extreme performance for a wide variety of fields, including architecture, engineering and construction (AEC), scientific research and content creation. Powered by up to two dual Intel® Xeon® Scalable processors (2P) for up to 56 cores, up to four NVIDIA Quadro RTX™ GPUs and up to 1536GB of ECC memory, E900 G4 is engineered for the most intensive applications, from AI and machine-learning configurations to real-time rendering, simulation and visualisation scenarios. E900 G4 is designed to be easy to scale up or scale out to grow along with users' requirements and benefits from multiple independent software vendors (ISV) certifications for total peace of mind.

ASUS is also demonstrating ESC700 G4, a workstation powered by the Intel® Xeon® W processor and up to two NVIDIA Quadro RTX GPUs to support a variety of applications for vertical markets. Additionally, the new, compact and stylish ASUS Mini PC ProArt PA90 with 9th Gen Intel® Core™ processors, a CPU liquid cooler and support for NVIDIA Quadro graphics is on display at GTC 2019. Mini PC ProArt PA90 offers uncompromising performance for computer-aided design (CAD) workflows for architecture, engineering and manufacturing in an attractively modern, compact form-factor that fits easily into any workspace.

Mobile workstation with NVIDIA Quadro Graphics

ASUS StudioBook S is one of the world’s slimmest laptops with an NVIDIA Quadro GPU, providing cutting-edge graphics performance combined with portability. It’s simply perfect for creative professionals who require the performance for heavy creative workloads but also need the flexibility to work on the go.

In addition to NVIDIA Quadro graphics, StudioBook S features an Intel Xeon processor with up to 64GB of ECC memory and up to a CPU-attached 4TB PCIe NVMe SSD in a RAID 0 array. The innovative slim-bezel NanoEdge design fits a 17-inch display into a 15-inch chassis, so StudioBook S slips easily into a briefcase or messenger bag.

Server-grade workstation motherboard for AI-enabled applications

As the world’s No.1 motherboard brand, ASUS offers workstation motherboards with server-grade and durable components for different vertical markets. WS X299 Sage/10G delivers excellent GPU performance with up to Quad-SLI support, server-grade validation and comprehensive cooling options to provide the perfect system build for training neural networks and crunching other scalable compute loads. WS Z390 PRO fits up to four dual-slot graphics cards for multi-GPU setups that harness the full power of the latest graphics technologies, delivering the best performance for design, modeling, medical research and processing-intensive simulation and rendering applications. With rack-optimised design for better cooling efficiency and stability, WS C246M PRO is a workstation motherboard with support for native NVMe for up to 32Gbps data-transfer speeds.
