The successful user-friendly P2P is now ready to be used in all Thecus NAS
After the success of the Orbweb.me solution for Windows Storage Server Essentials NAS, Thecus® Technology Corp and its partner Orbweb Inc. have decided to bring Orbweb.me to Linux NAS devices. This intuitive application brings a new remote access experience to Thecus Linux NAS from web browsers such as Chrome, Internet Explorer or Firefox.
Orbweb.me is a P2P module that allows users to easily view, stream and manage files in their NAS anytime and anywhere. No IP address is required. Besides that, Orbweb4.0 offers several features including webcam monitoring, timeline viewand snapshot. All these features further increase Thecus NAS functionality and because of the partnership between Thecus and Orbweb, Thecus NAS include a subscription for the Orbweb.me Ultimate Version.
Thecus NAS uses an arsenal of security protocols and features to maintain user´s data safety. To prevent data from coming under attack when data is being transferred, Orbweb.me uses military grade AES 256-bit encryption to secure all data traffic.
Note: Orbweb.me is available in all Thecus NAS powered by WSSE, Thecus OS 5.0 or Thecus OS 7.0.
