For wired connections, the embedded gigabit Ethernet in the MCP teams up with NVIDIA DualNet® and NVIDIA FirstPacket™ technologies to double the connection bandwidth and prioritize network traffic based on user-defined preferences, eliminating network bottlenecks and improving system efficiency even when bandwidth-heavy applications are running simultaneously. Complementing the visual competence of the PN1 SLI2 Extreme is an 8-channel, high-definition audio interface that produces realistic surround sound for a complete entertainment experience. The Realtek ALC882 codec also supports the S/PDIF port that transforms the PN1 SLI2 Extreme into a powerful, high-end audio system.
