PCI Express is a next-generation graphics-to-chipset interface which dramatically increases throughput capability, providing added bandwidth for tomorrow's graphic-intensive applications. Combining the bandwidth of PCI Express connectivity with HyperTransport(tm) technology, as well as the latest high-performance graphics cards and peripheral devices, customers can continue to unleash the full-performance potential of AMD64 technology.
