The AU11 is the Latest addition to the award winning 1stMainboard range and supports the AMD processors. The AU11 is also the first FIC product to be based on an nVidia® chipset.

Based on the brand new nVidia® nForce2 chipset, the AU11 is designed to provide both performance and functionality. The AU11 supports the very latest AMD Athlon XP processors at clock speeds of up to 2.4GHz and beyond and up to 3 GB of super fast DDR400 memory can be installed. The AU11 also features 128 bit dual channel memory architecture and 333MHz Front Side Bus (FSB)



Other key features of the new AU11 include support for AGP 8X, on-board 10/100 Ethernet LAN, 5.1 channel sound, 6 USB 2.0 ports and IEEE 1394.



AGP 8X (Advanced Graphics Port) graphics cards have distinct advantages over conventional graphics cards. The AGP 8X architecture provides a direct, high-performance connection between the core-logic chipset and the graphics controller for enhanced graphics performance for 3D applications. This connection between chipset and graphics controller removes the bottleneck that standard graphics cards suffer from when they share a bus with other peripherals.
