Taipei, Taiwan, September 26th, 2003 – Twinhead International Corp., an innovative developer and manufacturer of portable computers, digital cameras and LCD monitors, today announced its new efio! 121A portable PC series featuring AMD Mobile Athlon XP processor.

The basic 121A version comes with a 512KB L2 on-die cache with 128MB DDR RAM on board and a 200 pin SO-DIMM socket that accommodates 128, 256 or 512MB DDR modules for up to 640MB of total system memory. A 128-bit AGP 4X 3D graphics engine with motion compensation support powers the 121A’s 12.1-inch XGA TFT screen. Additionally, it's ready for audio use with a convenient hardware volume control knob, AC97 2.1 compliant PCI audio, an internal microphone and two onboard 1-watt speakers.

The efio! 121A can be optionally equipped with a 20, 30 or 40GB hard drive and upgrade choices of an optional internal 24X CD-ROM, 8X DVD-ROM or Combo drive. Weighing in at only 1.6 kg without battery, the efio!121A delivers all the required power and features to run today's and tomorrow's business and leisure applications.

Twinhead's efio!121A power is matched by its extensive connectivity options. In addition to three USB 2.0 ports, this state-of-the-art notebook provides an IrDA port, Type II 32-bit Card Bus socket, line-out plug for external speakers, external monitor connector, an internal 56 Kbps V. 90 fax modem, an integrated 10/100Mbit Ethernet connection, external microphone jack, S-video connector and DC-in plug.
