MUNICH, GERMANY - November 6, 2002 - The world's first integrated graphics processor for Intel's Pentium 4 Processor-M platform, ATI's (TSX: ATY,
NASDAQ: ATYT) RADEON IGP(tm) 340M, has been chosen by HP to power their Compaq Evo N1020v commercial notebook PC.

The revolutionary RADEON IGP 340M comes equipped with a 64-bit system memory interface, up to 128 MB of shared memory and a variety of award-winning
RADEON(tm) features such as HYPER ZTM, ATI's dynamic PIXEL TAPESTRYTM architecture and VIDEO IMMERSION(tm). PIXEL TAPESTRY allows the RADEON IGP family of processors to create ultra-realistic environments with unprecedented detail and 3D special effects. The VIDEO IMMERSION adaptive de-interlacing engine advances ATI's historic leadership in digital video and delivers features such as hardware motion compensation and iDCT (inverse discrete cosine transform). The RADEON IGP 340M's highly integrated design also includes ATI's industry leading power management technology that gives users the benefits of optimised notebook battery life.

The Evo N1020v notebook is powered by Intel Pentium 4 processors or mobile Intel Celeron processors and offers up to 1024 MB DDR RAM memory and up to 40 GB hard drive. Large 14.1" or 15" XGA screens, advanced Digital Video Port (1394), choice of CD, DVD or DVD /CD-RW and 802.11 and Bluetooth wireless options make the Evo N1020v the ideal portable system for use in the office and home.
