Manchester- September 10, 2003 - Sale Sharks are delighted to announce a 2-year continuation to the current sponsorship agreement with the club's main sponsor, AMD. This new deal extends the original 3-year sponsorship to 5 years and includes a major investment in the Sale Sharks community programme that is designed to promote the game of rugby union across schools and junior rugby clubs.

During the initial sponsorship period, research from Premier Rugby showed that AMD received the most hours of TV exposure of all the Premier clubs' sponsors.
