VISIONTEK TO EXPAND MANUFACTURING
CAPABILITIES

Leading US graphics
card manufacturer VisionTek expands production facilities overseas

18th June 2002

LONDON
-
VisionTek, a leading provider of advanced graphics and
memory products for PCs, today announced that it has completed a plan to expand
its manufacturing capabilities to include overseas production of aftermarket 3D
graphics boards.

VisionTek is shifting from a
single site manufacturing strategy to a global manufacturing strategy, allowing
the company to streamline the efficiency of its business and increase cost
effectiveness.  First-to-market and OEM PC graphics products will continue to be
manufactured in North America, while high volume and mid-to-low cost products
will be built to VisionTek's exacting standards by a qualified Asian partner.

"We have experienced
explosive growth over the last year. Entering the European market and earning
the number one spot in U.S. retail has driven worldwide demand for our graphics
products to such a level that we need to expand manufacturing to include
overseas capabilities," said Mark Polinsky, co-founder and CEO of VisionTek.
"As our business model shifts, we will continue to evaluate the best methods of
delivering VisionTek products to our customers while raising our service levels
to the highest in the industry."

"VisionTek continues to be a
valuable partner with NVIDIA® in both the OEM and retail graphics markets by
delivering high-quality, award-winning NVIDIA-based products," said Jeff Fisher,
NVIDIA's executive vice president of worldwide sales.  "We fully support them in
this manufacturing expansion and look forward to their continued leadership in
the add-in graphics card markets."

"VisionTek is proud of the
relationships we have fostered with both our customers and vendors over the last
fourteen years," said Polinsky.  "Our company's history of phenomenal growth in
the memory business, its leadership in the add-in graphics card market, combined
with our rapidly diversifying product line positions us for continued growth and
success."
