 LONDON
UK:SEPTEMBER 25 2001 Intel today announces its sponsorship of the MTV Europe
Music Awards and the launch of a new micro-site giving web surfers and music
fans access to interactive music content and a chance to attend the Award Show
and the VIP after party. The supporting Intel advertising campaign includes
TV, web elements and in-store materials.




 The
campaign centres on raising the Awards profile and driving traffic to the
official micro-site for the Europe Music Awards, which Intel has developed in
partnership with MTV. The interactive micro-site, which can be accessed across
Europe via Intel’s country websites, also gives visitors the chance to party
with Destiny’s Child, Dido and Janet Jackson at Europe’s hottest award
ceremony in Frankfurt, Germany on November 8th 2001.




 




MTV is
watched in more than 100 million homes across Europe. The MTV Europe Music
Awards are now in their eighth year and will be watched by over a billion
fans. This year, a brand new award will go to the star with the most
interactive and innovative website.
