July 18th, 2016 – SAPPHIRE Technology is pleased to introduce the new SAPPHIRE GPRO Commercial Graphics series. Featuring leading chip technologies and a set of industrial enhancements in durability and connectivity, the new SAPPHIRE GPRO 6200 and 4200 commercial graphics cards are the new competitive choice for multi-display commercial appliances.
Launching in July, the SAPPHIRE GPRO 6200 and 4200 are tailored for interactive walls, digital signage in financial trading, hotel and conferences environments, medical centers as well as media and entertainment use. Utilizing a powerful AMD Graphics Core Next – based chip and 4 GB of GDDR5 high speed memory, the SAPPHIRE GPRO 6200 enables a wide range of multi-display solutions across various vertical markets. This single-slot ATX card features 6 Mini DisplayPort 1.2 outputs that can drive up to 6 displays (up to 4K resolution @ 30Hz or a single 4K display @ 60 Hz). Active cooling uses a dual ball-bearing fan. Packing powerful display technologies and durability-enhancing features, the card still consumes less than 50W of power, making the most efficient, stable and reliable product in its class.
Joining the new GPRO Commercial Graphics series lineup is the SAPPHIRE GPRO 4200. Designed as a versatile, powerful multi-display solution in a low-profile form factor, the GPRO 4200 drives up to 4 displays (with independent audio streams). Featuring dual ball-bearing active cooling, 4 GB of GDDR5 and advanced GCN chip while maintaining low power consumption (<50W), the SAPPHIRE GPRO 4200 is an efficient, durable card for entry-level commercial spaces.
For a more secure display connection, both new SAPPHIRE GPRO models feature a flexible secure lock using a screw. It removes the risks of display disconnections from the card by firmly screwing the plug to the card. The Screw Secure Lock is available on a range of optional accessories, including mDP-to-DVI (Active or Passive), mDP-to-HDMI (Active), 1.4 or 2.0, and mDP-to-DP.
SAPPHIRE GPRO multi-display solutions are powered by AMD Eyefinity technology that enables highly immersive and powerful multitasking experiences across wide workspace. Specifically optimized for display walls usage, SAPPHIRE GPRO cards feature DisplayPort 1.2 support with multi-stream audio capabilities for more immersive and realistic sound and AMD Unified Video Decoder enabling simultaneous decode of two HD video streams. Implemented bezel compensation prevents interference and image distortion when displaying a single large image across multiple displays.
The SAPPHIRE GPRO graphics solutions have a planned 3-year life cycle and are under a limited 3-year warranty.
