Antec Europe’s new range of enclosure cases, built on
the success of the company’s best-selling Performance Series, has been
specifically designed to keep power supply and system noise to a minimum.
Aimed at the high-performance PC market, the Performance
Plus AMG (Antec Metallic Grey) series comes installed with Antec’s new TruePower
Power Supply Unit (PSU). TruePower improves system reliability and stability
with its dedicated output circuitry and voltage feedback. This enables all
components in the PC to receive maximum power when needed.
TruePower is equipped with Antec’s Low Noise Technology
to achieve the optimum balance between noise reduction and necessary cooling.
All models include Power Factor Correction (PFC) and are compliant with AMD and
Intel-based systems, including P4.
The new cases are designed with additional features and
functionality to meet the needs of gamers and other demanding PC users. They
feature front-mounted USB and FireWire ports, a front-washable air filter, a
swing-out side panel with case fan to maximise PCI/AGP expansion card cooling,
quick release drive cages and snap-in fan mounts to ensure quick hardware
adjustments. The series includes a mini tower and SOHO (small office/home
office) file server, both coming in metallic grey.

Antec’s Performance Plus cases will be available from
August at Global, Misco and e-tail outlets starting at £94.00 (RRP). They come
