Intervideo's take over of Ulead completes
We've just received confirmation that the takeover of Ulead by InterVideo reported here last week did complete.
InterVideo bought a majority share in Ulead totalling 62.4 per cent.

Discussing the impact of the takeover, Ulead's Mark Wurdemann told us, "The buyout will not affect Ulead's overall product strategy. We will continue to develop and market cutting-edge video editing, photo editing and DVD authoring software. It will not change our current European operations, and we all see the move as a positive one with Ulead benefiting from InterVideo's strengths in the OEM software arena."
