A feast for the eyes!
When we first heard that brothers Larry and Andy Wachowski, famed for creating the Matrix series, were on board to direct Speed Racer, we expected nothing less than jaw dropping visuals. Having now seen the first trailer, we were pretty much right.
Sticking to the roots of the popular and classic Japanese animated series, the Speed Racer movie features bright colours a-plenty and maintains a cartoon like appearance.
Herein lies the problem however, Speed Racer is supposed to be a live action remake of the movie. Yet, it looks like a cartoon turned video game. Have a look at the trailer below and judge for yourselves, it seems to be one of those "either you love it or you don't" type moments.
