Building on Sapphire’s reputation for special edition graphics cards, the Sapphire Ultimate X800XL with its special cooler, memory heatsinks and distinctive Sapphire blue PCB will appeal to any PC enthusiasts and system integrators looking for quieter solutions for the powerful graphics now demanded by home entertainment systems and in the workplace.
The Sapphire Ultimate X800XL uses an exciting new cooling solution, much more powerful than traditional fans, yet much quieter in operation. This high performance graphics accelerator is based on the latest ATI X16 lane native PCI-Express graphics technology with 16 parallel pixel pipelines and six programmable vertex shader pipelines. It offers both DVI and VGA outputs as well as S-Video TV outputs and supports simultaneous dual display.
Equipped with 256MB of GDDR3 memory the Sapphire Ultimate X800XL ships with clock speeds of 400MHz (core) and 490MHz (memory), which can be performance tuned with the Redline software supplied. Also bundled with the card are the Power DVD player v5.0 and two state-of-the-art games - Splinter Cell: Pandora Tomorrow and Prince of Persia.
