Get smart
Acer has added a new smartphone to its beTouch range called the E210.
Powered by Android 2.2 Froyo, the handset combines a touchscreen, full QWERTY keyboard plus optical trackpad and is designed for people who want to get in on the touch screen act but are not willing to give up a conventional keyboard.
Ergonomically designed, slim and light at 110g, the smartphone still packs in a 2.6 inch screen. It has the option to push office emails, offers Google Talk and the ability to share status updates, links, pictures and videos to a variety of social networking outlets by one click of the Share button.
The phone also includes 3G+, HSDPA, a 3.2MP camera and FM radio with RDS. Available in sliver and shiny black, it is due to hit UK stores on 11 March with pricing to be confirmed.
