That makes Sense
When HTC announced the launch of its cloud service, HTCSense.com, plenty of Desire owners were disappointed they would not benefit, but rumours suggest that could change.
Currently only owners of the new Desire HD and Desire Z handsets can access HTCSense.com, which has a ‘find my phone' function and other tools people can use to control their phone remotely, a little like Apple MobileMe.
However, according to TechRadar HTC has signalled the service could be made available to older handsets like its phenomenally popular Desire, after one of its readers said HTC had contacted him about the service.
Adding weight to the rumour, HTC reportedly said more details should be available ‘by the end of the year' but did not confirm the rumour.
Launched back in September HTCSense.com is free and offers lots of syncing options and a way to lock a handset if it is lost, plus find its location among other features.
