We have a release date folks, O2 has let slip that HTC's latest, high-end, quad-core smartphone will be arriving in the UK on April 5th, though currently plans and costing details remain undecided.
For those who can't remember back to MWC last month, the One X is one heck of a monster, sporting a large 720p-capable 4.7 inch display, backed by an NVIDIA Tegra 3 quad-core 1.5GHz processor and 1GB of RAM.
The device also features support for the new Bluetooth 4.0 standard along with, optionally, support for NFC, dependant on mobile operator. Another feature of note is the 8-megapixel BSI camera sensor, supported by an impressive F2.0 aperture 28mm-equivalent lens and the ability to take pictures whilst recording video.
