Includes Global Agenda's Sandstorm expansion.
There’s a lot to dislike about Global Agenda – I still think the combat feels a bit wobbly, with bullets flying all over the place and not making contact with the enemy they appeared to hit, the Sonoran Desert missions are pretty poor, and it’s extremely frustrating that to try out a new class you’ve got to start a new character from fresh. It’s also a bit disappointing that unless you buy the next expansion when it’s realised, you will probably lose the ability to play the Agency vs Agency missions, but given that it has gone subscription-free, it’s a reasonable trade-off in my eyes.So no, Global Agenda didn’t initially strike me as being a great game. But after several days of playing, I still feel as though I’ve barely scratched the surface of a monolithic experience. On each occasion I discover yet another clever innovation, yet another game mode to try out – it definitely improves with time. Furthermore, their forums are alive with productive discourse between players and developers, so if there’s a good idea out there, it could well be featured in a later update.
If you’re largely a single-player gamer, then I wouldn’t touch Global Agenda with a bargepole, and it could do with a lot of polish to push it onto the next level. But if you’re a multiplayer FPS fan, who wants something a bit different to the next CoD clone, there’s a lot here to enjoy.
