The Call of Duty 4 Variety map pack, which was released for the Xbox 360 version of the shooter back in April, will be available for free to PC gamers later this week.

On June 5th, the NVIDIA-sponsored map pack will be available to download alongside the latest patch (1.6), which will fix a server crash and add a number of additional features.

The Variety Map Pack will consist of the following four maps:

"Creek" is a wide-open village ravaged by combat where concealment is the difference between life and death.

In "Broadcast," you fight throughout an enemy communications building with confined corridors and wide-open parking lots.

"Chinatown" is a foggy downtown district, lit only by a full moon and the neon glow of the city.

"Killhouse" features a desolate training warehouse filled with a variety of building mock-ups and soft and hard cover points

Yes they are. I've been playing these for a while on the PS3 - definitely worth getting.

Chinatown is a favourtite of mine, but depends on your style of play, its close quarters, if you're a sniper then Creek is a good one for you.
they are finally out…:)
