The wait is almost over
Midway and Epic has confirmed that the PC version of Unreal Tournament 3 will launch in Europe on November 23rd with a retail price of £34.99 and £39.99 for the collector's edition. If you can't wait till then, you can still jump on the beta demo.
The press release states that the Playstation 3 version is set to launch shortly after, but Mark Rein told Eurogamer that it may not apply to the European market.
"We think there's a very solid shot we'll get out this year - I don't know about Europe. Europe's a problem because the certification process in Europe takes longer. They're testing all these different languages in all these different countries, so I doubt it'll be released this year in Europe. But I don't know. We'll have to cross our fingers and wait and see," he said.
Epic say that Unreal Tournament 3 unleashes the full power of Unreal Engine 3, taking graphics, gameplay, and challenge to a whole new level as players engage in intense battles with other human players online, or against Unreal artificial intelligence.
