PRESS RELEASE

The entire range of Hauppauge's high definition game recorders, including HD PVR Rocket, HD PVR 2 and HD PVR 2 Gaming Edition Plus, are now capable of recording unlimited game play with the PS4.

LONDON, UK, May 6th, 2014 -- Hauppauge Digital, Inc. (NASDAQ: HAUP), the leading developer and manufacturer of HD video recorders, announced today support for PlayStation 4 with the latest firmware update from Sony.

PlayStation 4 users who have updated their system to version 1.70 and above will be able to record their PS4 game play with Hauppauge's range of award winning HD capture devices. Hauppauge HD PVR 2 users will also be able to stream their game play using Twitch, Ustream and YouTube.

The PlayStation 4 has been able to record game play videos limited to 5 minutes since its launch in November of 2014. However, the ability to record, edit and stream unlimited lengths of game play has not been available until now.

Using the HD PVR 2 or HD PVR Rocket will also give the user additional benefits such as adding music and game commentary along with game audio, add overlays such as watermarks or additional information about the footage and upload direct to YouTube

In addition to unlimited recording and streaming with the PS4, all Hauppauge game recorders can be used with the Xbox One, the original PS3, the Xbox 360 and also PC game systems.

No additional updates are required for the Hauppauge capture devices to work with the PlayStation 4: the PS4 user will simply need to upgrade to version 1.7 of the Sony PS4 software and change a setting within the PlayStation 4 menu to disable HDCP.
