ABIT Announce the ACON5 prize list!
At last, at long last we can see exactly what ABIT have snaffled to give away at the ACON5 finals in Uttoxeter on the weekend of 22-24th April.
Having thoroughly pilfered their partners store cupboards, warehouse managers at ATI, Chenbro, Corsair, Intel, Creative and Logitech are scratching their heads wondering where some serious amounts of hardware have gone to as the ABIT goodie truck roars off to Uttoxeter ready for next weekend.
Loaded up in the back are some of the choicest bits of hardware on the market with the likes of ATI X850 graphics cards, Intel Pentium 4 560 CPUs and Creative Audigy 2 ZS Platinum soundcards… but that’s not all… crammed into the fun wagon are ABIT Fatal1ty AA8XE mainboards, Chenbro PC Bomb II cases, A few Gig of Corsair TwinX 1024, Logitech MX510 mice, speakers and headset as well as headsets and MP3 players from Creative.

There’s a raffle for the CS teams to win Pentium 560 CPUs and spot awards of MP3 players for outstanding individual achievement, which means I won’t be getting a thing as I consider it a challenge to just not flashbang myself or my team…
Of course, the first prize will be a paid trip to China in June for the ACON5 World Finals, which, tasty as all those other prizes are, I’d bite someone’s arm off to win… I wonder if they can incorporate a jelly pit wrestling match into next years event… I reckon I could win that, purely by eating the jelly and sitting on my opponent until everyone gets bored and goes home…
