Yahoo! UK will show bite-size video clips of every game in the Barclays Premier League this season so football fans will never miss a goal.
Highlights of weekend matches will be available just after midnight on monday morning, while videos of weekday fixtures will be posted at the same time the following day.
As well as match highlights, Yahoo! UK users will be able to access a number of ‘best-of' clips including videos of great goals and saves, plus ‘tactical debate' and ‘team of the week,' as well as games previews.
Video viewers can share links to the highlights via Yahoo! with friends on Facebook and Twitter.
Yahoo! secured the rights for the 2010-2013 seasons in April and the company said its clips of under 5 minutes each will form one of the biggest video inventories in the UK with advertising from giants such as Adidas, Heineken, BT and Sony Pictures.
The football highlights will be supported by a multi-million pound marketing campaign which will run for the rest of this year, with the strap line: "Miss a game? We didn't."
Mark Rabe, Yahoo! UK's MD, said: "For the casual or serious football fan, it's the best bits of the weekend's action - perfect to catch up on games you may have missed, for sharing with friends and for being part of the conversation at work on Monday."
Richard Scudamore, chief executive of the Premier League, said: "The way fans access Barclays Premier League action is growing ever more diverse and sophisticated. The online highlights package is an important medium for supporters of all our clubs to be able to follow match action."
