French manufacturer Sagemcom has today unveiled its first Freeview HD-compatible PVRs in the form of the RTI90-320 T2 HD and RTI90-500 T2 HD.
The receivers feature dual DVB-T2 tuners, allowing users to watch one Freeview HD channel whilst recording another, and differentiate from one another through capacity.
The RTI90-320 T2 HD, scheduled to become available next month, features a single 320GB hard drive, whilst the RTI90-500 T2 HD will become available in May and offers a larger 500GB capacity.
Both models will feature an eight-day electronic programming guide (EPG), and will offer support for popular functions such as one-touch recording and Series Link. HDMI output will feature as standard, and an Ethernet port is in place for "future interactive services".
Sagemcom - once a subsidiary of Sagem but now an independent company - joins the likes of Humax, Toshiba and Sharp as the latest manufacturer to announce a Freeview HD-compatible set-top-box.
Pricing information for the RTI90-320 T2 HD and RTI90-500 T2 HD is yet to be announced.
