Be excellent to each other
Personally, I'd pay good money to see another outing from the most bodacious of on-screen duos; Bill S. Preston, Esquire and Ted "Theodore" Logan, a.k.a. Bill and Ted.
1989's Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure was a teen-masterpiece which taught us all, through stupidity, to "be excellent to each other". Its sequel, 1991's Bill & Ted's Bogus Journey, proved that comedy sequels can indeed be as funny as their predecessors.
Those two headbanging movies however were a long time ago, and for some 16 years now, fans have been asking Matrix star, Keanu Reeves, why don't you party on, dude?
Well, it turns out that Reeves is still considering it. Now aged 43, he said in an interview with MTV:
"The most serious we ever got was a few years ago," he confessed of a hitherto unknown third film. "I had once mentioned about doing it when we were 40. Now maybe the only shot we have is to do it when we’re 50."
It doesn't of course offer any indication that Reeves (Ted) and Winter (Bill) will actually take to the screen for a most triumphant third movie, but, it sure sounds as though Reeves would like to.
So, dudes, am I the only one who thinks Bill and Ted's 3 would be most excellent?
