Extraordinary ability to mimic sounds that it hears

I happened to see Sir David Attenborough's clip of the Lyrebird on the BBC's Friday Night with Jonathon Ross recently and was truly amazed by it. It's so good in fact, I've tracked down a YouTube clip to share with you all.

What a remarkable animal, the camera shutter sounds are just fantastic. I don't remember seeing anything quite so fascinating.

Thats simply amazing, the detail at which the bird mimics the sounds is outstanding.
My God, that's amazed me. I've not seen that before.
Interesting but I prefer the Liverbird myself
Saw this on Jonathan Ross and I was gobsmacked. Of course now I want a Lyrebird for the garden ;)
