She'll be back...

You can't beat a bit Terminator news and fortunately for us, US broadcasting company FOX has provided the first four posters (pictured below) of its forthcoming TV series, Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Taking place immediately after movie counterpart Terminator 2, the series will tell the story of Sarah Connor (Lena Heady), her son John Connor (Thomas Dekker) and there ongoing ambition to destroy the Skynet defence system before it destroys mankind.

Despite being executively produced by Terminator 3 producers Mario Kassar and Andrew G. Vajna, the series seems to forget the third movie instalment ever happened. Most fans seem to like that choice but I personally rather enjoyed Terminator 3 and I'll be looking forward to the inevitable war in Terminator 4.

Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles is set to debut in the US on January 13th 2008, now more commonly referred to by fans as Judgement Day. Though a UK date is yet to be confirmed, the series is scheduled to air on Virgin One in 2008.

Hot….and British!
Now that sounds cool !! :)
I'm really looking forward to it myself, I do enjoy a good TV series and this one has all the potential. No idea when it'll come to UK screens though.

Check out the Bionic Woman TV series then ;)

The pilot was rubbish, not holding out much hope for this, especially after the debacle that was Terminator 3 :(
