Teufel has announced the launch of what it claims to be the world's first THX Select2-certified home theatre system, the suitably-named System 5 THX select 2.
The system, pictured below, is the first to meet the criteria outlined by the THX Select2 standard and promises to "transform the living room into an auditorium".
Teufel reckons the System 5 THX select 2 is suited in spaces of up to 50 square metres, and it consists of three speaker models - two S500 FCR front loudspeakers, two S500D rear speakers, and two S5000SW subwoofers to complete the 5.2 set.
It's capable of bass as low as 25Hz, and if your home theatre's in need of some kick, the System 5 THX select 2 will be hitting stores in June 2009 priced at around £1,410.
