Following the recent launch of Freesat, we've seen Freesat digital set-top boxes from the likes of Humax, and now, we've got our first TVs with Freesat and Freeview capability built right in, courtesy of Panasonic.
If you're without a high-definition TV, Panasonic's new range, the PZ81 series, could be the perfect step to getting on-board with Freesat. Available in three screen sizes: the 42in (TH-42PZ81) and 46in (TH-46PZ81) models will make their way to shops in June, and the 50in (TH-50PZ81) screen will follow in July.
All three sets offer an integrated digital tuner capable of receiving Freesat HD broadcasts, though, a connection to a satellite dish is required. All models offer a 1920x1080 full-HD resolution, along with 100Hz double scan and Panasonic goodies such as 24p Real Cinema technology and Intelligent Frame Creation.
There's an Ethernet port for "future service enhancements", three HDMI ports, Dolby Digital optical output, an SD card slot and a 1,000,000:1 dynamic contrast ratio.
No word on pricing just yet, but don't be surprised to see Freesat-capable TVs begin to pop up left, right and centre.
